Runako Campbell is a New York City based performing artist. As an actor, dancer, singer, and collaborator, her commitment to storytelling shines both on stage and on screen. Her career spans across Broadway, film, television, contemporary dance, recording artists, opera, and beyond. Runako is an artist who is driven by movement, grounded in acting, and supported by her voice, singing and otherwise. She takes pride in her ability to instantly conjure innovative movement that expresses a true sense of freedom and emotionally engages an audience.

A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Runako graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in African-American Studies and a Certificate in Dance. When not performing, you can find her sweating in yoga or Pilates, scouring through her favorite bookstores, journaling, or hunting for her next yummy treat.
